The player controls Dr. Serin ahead of a group of Liquid Snake en route to rescue their kidnapped friend, Liquid Ogon. Here, Snake has to fight his way through several stages, rescue Liquid and save the president before they are all defeated by an elite task force composed of members from both the government and private security forces.
Although this game is not emulated properly, it still has a good support from the community. If you have fond memories of playing classic Sega games on your Megadrive, Game Gear or other console then you might want to take a look at Kega Fusion to go back to those carefree days. The emulator supports a large range of Sega systems including the Master System, Game Gear and 32X - basically everything but the Saturn and Dreamcast. Using the emulator is easy as pie - you can just drag ROM images onto the interface to start them.
The interface itself is basic but functional - no gimmicks or bells-and-whistles here. One small quibble is that the sheer number of options and tools might be overwhelming to new users. Games themselves run smoothly and well. One particularly nice feature is the abiltiy to set seperate controls for the different consoles. You can even select the option for scanlines to evoke the memories of playing on your old TV. You can play multiplayer games online and also capture video for commentaries, user guides or just to relive your moments of victory.
The audio emulation is superbly accurate and combined with video options makes for a really accurate Sega experience. Pro's: Very stable, very user-friendly, customisable controls, great sound emulation. Con's: Does not support Saturn or Dreamcast, interface options may be overwhelming at first.
Conclusion: All in all this is one of the best Sega emulators available, with a range of video options, very stable workings and a high degree of customization. All OSes.

Like other retro gaming platforms, the Windows version of Kega Fusion emulates the classic games that were originally meant for the Genesis console.
The major difference however lies in the fact that it is optimized for Windows use, while the other version is more or less based on the Genesis emulator of the original arcade game. Some of the differences that are worth mentioning include the fact that there are no longer any sound effects, just the standard music that is featured on most versions of the game.
The color palette used is also different, probably because of the Genesis, but this one doesn't look that bad as it's not that different from any other Genesis game. The only major issue with this version of Kega Fusion for the windows is its compatibility with the newest version of Windows VISTA as this one still depends on the outdated Windows 95 version.
